Transfer talks today, Liverpool executives seen at hotel
According to Calciomercato, there were three Liverpool representatives at the Palazzo Parigi hotel in Via Fatebenefratelli to discuss the signing of Inter Milan’s Mateo Kovacic.
Calciomercato said that today’s meeting between Liverpool and Inter Milan made a transfer of Kovacic increasingly likely, but they also said it would likely not be the only meeting, with talks set to continue from as both sides try and get the best deal possible. Inter are looking to raise funds to enable Roberto Mancini to spend relatively bigly during the summer transfer and Kovacic looks to be a player earmarked as one available for sale.
