Liverpool To Pay £3.5 million release clause For Target

Liverpool’s pursuit for consistent right back still goes on with recent link to Burnley’s youngster, Kieran Trippier. After Liverpool’s bid for Southampton right back, Nathaniel Clyne got rejected, Trippier now is the centre of attraction for Liverpool.

Liverpool earlier offered £10m but Southampton thought their player worth more than that and hence rejected the bid. Since Liverpool FC Look to solve their defensive crisis, there is still the need to look for a well proven and consistent right.

Burnley’s Kieran seems to have caught the eyes of Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers. Kieran had an amazing and impressive season. The English youngster has however attractive interests from many other Premiership clubs following a good campaign.

Tottenham Hotspurs, Arsenal and Aston Villa have all now joined the race to sign the 22 years of full back. The youngster is very capable of starting an attack from the flanks as well as recovering defensively. With Liverpool looking to add young talents, Kieran would be successful as he’ll be playing with other youngsters like Coutinho, Ibe, Henderson etc.

Reports from last week also claimed Liverpool are interested in  32 years old Barcelona star, Dani Alves. I t would have been a great and in fact one of the best signings of Brendan Rodgers. However, Liverpool’s youth policy incorporated in their terms would not see Liverpool sign the 32 years old Dani Alves, which apparently makes Kieran Trippiers favorite to be signed.

In as much as experience is need, at times the need for fresh legs and heart are very important. Burnley on the other hand are willing to leave the player should Liverpool FC trigger the release clause which is said to be around £3.5 million.

It is likely Liverpool will sign Kieran ahead of Clyne whose bid Liverpool are not willing to meet and Dani Alves which the club’s youth policy forbids to sign
